Over 1000 medical clinics nationally (representing 15% of general practitioners) have readily adopted eClinic's Secure Medical Services (SMS) Client Software fully automating the transfer of pathology and radiology results, securely and conveniently, directly from the pathology laboratory to the medical practice.

Developed for The Gribbles Group and utilising Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) with site based eSign digital certificates and fully encrypted SSL data transfer, eClinic's SMS Client Software ensures highly secure communication, authentication and data integrity in the transmission of pathology results directly into the patient management software - Medical Director, Medical Spectrum and other HL7 compatible software packages. Issued via CD or email, eClinic's SMS Client Software is both easy to install and use.

The benefits for the medical practice are significant. With eClinic's SMS Client Software featuring an interface with an auto download scheduler, medical practices may set their own download times for automatic retrieval of results and downloading into the patient management systems for practice management efficiencies. Using the same interface, results may be downloaded manually at any time of the day, taking advantage of the fact that results are available for downloading 15 minutes after completion of the test - hence providing patients with peace of mind.

Should the practice select eClinic's view online option, doctors may view their patient results 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and from multiple locations simply by logging into their account on the eClinic web site, www.eclinic.com.au. Results may be searched efficiently by patient name and/or date of birth. Results are available for one year. A printout of the results may also be obtained.

eClinic's pathology and radiology e-delivery service will shortly be enhanced to incorporate requests for pathology tests. In the meantime however, medical practices wishing to view a demonstration of the e-delivery service may do so by visiting www.eclinic.com.au and clicking on Gribbles eServices.

Substantial growth of myRep is planned over the coming months with the addition of further products and services.
